Wi-fi enabled Notebook/Netbook Computer Campus
Ntec (Concordia Institute of Business and National Technology Institute) is proud to be one of the few educational institutes worldwide that has a computing initiative which fully integrates Information Communication Technologies across all its campuses. Every student is provided with a current model notebook/ netbook PC to interact with faculty, access learning materials, carry out research, write reports, submit assessments and make presentations. All students’ notebook/ netbook PCs are preloaded with the latest Microsoft software packages. Students unfamiliar with the computer and software are provided with basic courses to familiarise themselves in its use. The initiative ensures Ntec students have the competitive edge in the information age.

Student facilitiesThe Internet has created new learning and teaching opportunities and Ntec students and faculty staff use technology in the classroom every day. Ntec has adopted Moodle, an e-learning portal, as the online learning platform to create online learning support that is not only effective but also environmentally friendly. Our campus is Wi- Fi-enabled and this enhances the overall conducive learning environment.

Workshops on job search techniques, CV writing, interview skills and personal development are conducted for each intake. Students are also given training and assistance in finding full-time jobs in New Zealand on completion of their course. (See also Working and Living in New Zealand).
