Certificate in International Business (Foundation Studies) Level 3
This is a transition programme, equivalent to Year 13 in New Zealand, Year 12 or matriculation in Australia and ‘A’ levels in United Kingdom. It is equivalent to the Higher School Certificate level offered in some countries. Strong emphasis is placed on numeracy, language and communication skills to prepare students for business education in universities worldwide.
Duration
1 year full time.

Accounting I, Business Mathematics, Business Computing, Business Economics I, English for University I, Living Skills in Global Society, Accounting II, Business Statistics, Business Economics II, English for University II, Advanced Writing Skills and Sociology.
Pathways
Students completing the Certificate are guaranteed entry into Diploma in Business Management Level 5.
Successful completion of this foundation programme provides students with exemptions from 5 subjects of the New Zealand Diploma in Business, delivered by the Southern Institute of Technology, a polytechnic in New Zealand. The course also provides entry into the first year of a business degree programme at the following United Kingdom and Australian universities: University of Westminster, University College Chester, Keele University, University College of Northampton and Edith Cowan University.
Entry Requirements:
- Minimum 18 years of age (international students).
